A return to origins, in the heart of the Bolgheri countryside

Between Località Magazzino and Cinghialaia, on the edge of the wooded area and a few steps from our Bolgheri DOC winery, stands Podere Le Mandrie. The farmhouse, built in 1898, tells a story of seasons, field work and shared life among vineyards, olive trees and woods of the Bolgheri countryside. It is here that Vincenzo spent part of his youth, creating a bond that still lives today in memories and in the identity of the estate. With Podere Le Mandrie something comes to life that goes beyond a simple agriturismo: an authentic return to origins, where past and future meet at the foot of Rocca di Castiglioncello di Bolgheri. Next to the main house there is also a small historic building once used by the "lupai", figures tasked with protecting the farmsteads from wolves that lived in the surrounding woods — a detail that makes this place even richer in charm and memory.
